Scores:

QB: 7/10

An impressive collection of quarterbacks, but they lack that one true sure-fire top 10 all-time quarterback to really push this position over the edge.

RB: 6/10

Again, a good collection and Emmitt Smith certainly leads the charge. However the drop-off in talent isn’t inspiring.

WR: 6/10

It’s a worse collection of wide receiver talent than you’d likely have guessed for all the success in the division’s history.

TE: 7/10

Jason Witten does his very best to carry this position.

OL: 7/10

A strong group that spans generations, but is undoubtably led by Larry Allen.

DL: 9/10

No question, an amazingly strong collection of defensive linemen. Reggie White leads the way, but the others are impressive in their own right. Plainly said, this d-line would dominate.

LB: 9/10

Some of the biggest names in NFL history at the linebacker position. It’s on par with the NFC North’s collection of talent. Having DeMarcus Ware absolutely buried in the “honorable mentions” says it all.

DB: 9/10

Some huge names here. A hell of a lot of talent. This defensive backfield could take the ball away from any offense that could be put together, no question.

ST: 6/10

Good but not great… sums up this position group.

Coaches: 8/10

Tom Landry is one of those football names that just carries a lot of weight and history to it.

Honorable Mentions:

When Sammy Baugh is in your “honorable mentions” list you know it’s a good freaking list.

Total Score: 74 Points
